Ronan Doyle

I am a Clinical Bioinformatician at Synnovis providing pathogen bioinformatics support to Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, and King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

I have been working in clinical bioinformatics and healthcare science for 13 years at academic institutions such as UCL, LSHTM and various NHS trusts. As well as implementing clinical service pipelines in the NHS, I have extensive research experience in antimicrobial resistance, pathogen transmission and metagenomics and obtained my PhD in 2016 using high-throughput sequencing to identify ascending infection in preterm deliveries in Malawi.
